There has been another late Deadline Day development at Arsenal with a transfer U-turn taking place.
The focus of Arsenal’s transfer situation is the ongoing pursuit of Raheem Sterling, who is close to signing for the Gunners on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
A late move for Sterling shocked many, as Edu and Mikel Arteta continue to push to get the deal over the line.
The quest to secure the Englishman’s signature isn’t the only late business to report from North London.

Reiss Nelson to join Fulham on loan in Deadline Day transfer
There have been two exits on Deadline Day so far at Arsenal, with Aaron Ramsdale joining Southampton and Eddie Nketiah signing for Crystal Palace.
Later into Deadline Day, doubts over Reiss Nelson’s future emerged, as the winger looked set to join Ipswich Town on loan.
Instead, a last-minute U-turn took place, as reported by Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.
Just as Nelson looked certain to complete a transfer to Ipswich, Sheth reported that the 24-year-old is ‘now going’ to Fulham instead of joining the newly promoted side.
The transfer deal sheet is being submitted to get the deal over the line, in what could represent a stellar move for the Hale End graduate.
Nelson follows Emile Smith Rowe from Arsenal to Fulham
It was crucial for Nelson to secure a move away from the Emirates this summer, as the winger’s development has stalled as a result of his lack of game time.
At 24, the Englishman is at an important point in his career and has made the right decision to join Emile Smith Rowe at Fulham.
While Smith Rowe now calls Craven Cottage home, Nelson will play for a season under Marco Silva, which could prove to be decisive to his future at Arsenal and beyond.
Everyone will hope that the forward gets the opportunity he deserves and requires at Fulham, with it set to be an exciting season for the academy graduate.
