Declan Rice hasn’t just been doing wonders for Arsenal on the pitch, he is playing his part off it as well.

The England vice-captain has been incredible for the Gunners since he joined them in 2023, and he has been getting better and better.

Just recently, Rice was named the Arsenal Player of the Year for the second season in a row for his brilliant performances.

Now, he is helping Arsenal big time behind the scenes.

Declan Rice is convincing Morgan Rogers to join Arsenal

Morgan Rogers is one of the best players in the Premier League.

Hailed as ‘powerful’ by FIFA, the Englishman has been linked with a move away to several big clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.

Arsenal are deemed as the favourites to sign Rogers, but they still need to reach an agreement with Aston Villa and the player himself.

Declan Rice cannot interfere in club-to-club negotiations, but what he can do is play a part in convincing Rogers to join Arsenal.

If the Daily Mail are to be believed, that is exactly what the Gunners’ midfielder has been doing in the England camp.

Rice is said to have ‘been working away on Rogers, hoping to help influence his decision’, and we won’t be surprised at all if he ends up succeeding.

However, whether the Gunners can strike a deal with Aston Villa remains to be seen.

Morgan Rogers shouldn’t need any convincing to join Arsenal

Rice is absolutely right to be trying to influence Rogers’ decision, but in reality, he shouldn’t need to.

The Gunners are the Premier League champions, runners-up in the Champions League and one of the best sides in the world right now.

Furthermore, the chance to work with Mikel Arteta, who has a track record of developing and improving talented young players, is too good an opportunity for any player to refuse.

For those reasons, we expect the £85 million-rated Rogers to accept a move to the Emirates in a heartbeat if he gets a chance in the coming weeks.
