There has been speculation over the futures of a number of Arsenal players, with some of interest to other top European clubs.
Centre-back William Saliba has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, with Los Blancos star Antonio Rudiger recently admitting that he would love to see the Frenchman join him at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Thomas Partey and Jorginho are also both out of contract in the summer, with it unclear whether they will be offered new deals or allowed to leave for free.
Both veteran midfielders have been linked with moves to Serie A giants as well as clubs in Saudi Arabia, whilst there has also been talk over Jorginho moving into a coaching role.
Fabrizio Romano has now given an update over Jorginho’s intentions next summer, whilst also highlighting a concern he has regarding the transfer-linked players.

Fabrizio Romano gives update on Jorginho’s Arsenal future
Speaking to CaughtOffside, Romano claimed that the speculation over Saliba and Jorginho’s transfers may not be viewed favourably by Arsenal, and revealed that the Italian midfielder is not currently thinking about ending his playing career.
“The situation is that Jorginho is only thinking about this season,” Romano revealed.
“It’s an important season for Arsenal, I don’t think all these links for Jorginho and Saliba are genuine and are good for the club. It’s only the beginning of October, the season started just 50 days ago.
“Jorginho’s full focus is on present, on Arsenal, not on moving into coaching and not on making the move to Saudi Arabia.”
Jorginho still proving useful for Mikel Arteta
Although Jorginho has fallen behind Partey in the midfield pecking order, the midfielder’s experience is proving useful for Mikel Arteta.
When Declan Rice was suspended for an away trip to Tottenham Hotspur, Jorginho stepped up to deliver in his absence, and he has also worn the captain’s armband whilst Martin Odegaard has been injured.
As a rotation option, Arsenal will find it difficult to find anyone with the midfielder’s experience and reliability, whilst his leadership qualities have also been seen, with Jorginho acting as Arteta’s voice on the pitch.
If Jorginho is willing to stay in a rotational capacity, his playing days could be far from over next summer, but it remains to be seen what kind of contract Arsenal are willing to offer him.
