Harry Kane has inflicted a fair bit of pain on Arsenal fans over the years.
The Englishman spent most of his career at Tottenham Hotspur, and he holds the record for most goals scored in the history of the North London Derby.
Kane plays his football at Bayern Munich these days, and he has been incredibly prolific there as well. He is still one of the best strikers in world football.
His Tottenham allegiances aside, Arsenal could do with a world-class centre-forward like Kane. He has a very affordable release clause that can be triggered next year.
Harry Kane’s stance on signing for Arsenal
Arsenal have been in need of a prolific striker for a long time now.
Many fans urged Mikel Arteta to sign one in the January transfer window, but despite the Arsenal manager’s public pleas, the board did not deliver.
Arsenal fans are hoping for more good news in the coming windows. The Gunners really need to sign a world-class centre-forward if they want to win both, the Premier League and the Champions League.
A player like the England captain would be incredible, despite his love for Tottenham, and Paul Merson has even backed Arsenal to sign Kane.
BILD journalist Christian Falk revealed on X recently that the Englishman has a £54 million release clause that will become active next year.
That is a very affordable fee for Arsenal, but, unsurprisingly, this move will not happen.
Graeme Bailey has exclusively revealed on TBR Football that even though Kane is open-minded about returning to the Premier League one day, he has ruled out a move to Tottenham’s two big rivals, Arsenal and Chelsea.

The new Harry Kane plays in the Premier League and Arsenal should consider him
Arsenal will definitely go big on a new striker in the summer.
The Gunners have been linked with several names, and fans are hoping that one of Alexander Isak or Benjamin Sesko will be brought in.
A Premier League striker has also been linked with a move to Arsenal – Liam Delap of Ipswich Town.
Former Gunner Theo Walcott recently compared the Englishman to Kane.
He said: “Liam Delap, I believe he’s an old-school number nine, a bit similar to Harry Kane. He always is a threat in behind, he causes defenders all sorts of problems, he likes to work hard and gets a lot of goals.
“Put him in a team, no disrespect to Ipswich, but put him in a team that provides a lot more chances, he’s going to have a very, very successful career.”
Delap, still only 21, is a huge talent, and he is destined to play for a bigger club than Ipswich. If the Tractor Boys go down this season, the striker could be available for a bargain fee.
We think Arsenal should consider signing him.
