Mikel Arteta will be eager to bolster his Arsenal squad in the approaching January transfer window.
The flaws in the Arsenal ranks have been exposed in the early stages of this season. The Gunners have struggled for goals, and a lack of reliable squad depth was revealed as Mikel Arteta had to cope with an injury crisis.
If the North London club are to stand any chance of becoming Premier League champions this time around, then they will need to add quality in the winter transfer window.
A number of options will be under consideration when it comes to signing a forward who can fire Arsenal to Premier League title glory.

Arsenal still want to sign Dusan Vlahovic
Arsenal were linked with numerous strikers over the course of the recent summer transfer window.
However, Arteta’s interest in Dusan Vlahovic is even more long-standing than that, dating back a number of years.
The Spanish coach still hasn’t given up on bringing the Serbian to the Emirates Stadium.
According to journalist Rudu Galetti, reporting on X, the Gunners are “carefully monitoring” the 24-year-old’s current situation at Juventus.
Arsenal are expected to “meet” with the player’s agent soon, to explore the possibility of striking a deal for his services, as the Italian outfit are thought to be open to letting him go.
Arteta is a known admirer of Vlahovic, and the forward certainly has qualities that will appeal to the Arsenal boss. He is a clinical finisher, technically gifted, and physically imposing enough to bully Premier League defenders.
Which striker can Arsenal sign?
Vlahovic is not the only striker that Arsenal have shown an interest in. However, he may be the most imminently available.
Viktor Gyokeres has ruled out a January move. Whilst the Sporting CP striker would certainly be a hugely exciting addition to this Arsenal team, Arteta won’t be able to sign him until the summer at the earliest.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have considered Alexander Isak in the past. Newcastle United would be extremely reluctant to let the Swedish star go, though, especially midway through the season. As such, a January swoop for Isak would likely be beyond the Gunners’ financial reach.
