Manchester United and Arsenal are both gearing up for a busy summer, where goal-scoring capability appears to be top of both clubs in terms of priorities.

The Gunners have been struggling in front of goal for some time, with the lack of a clinical striker proving to be costly to Mikel Arteta.

Among those rumoured with a potential switch to the Emirates Stadium is Matheus Cunha, the Wolves forward who has been impressing in the Premier League.

While Arsenal are linked with Cunha as a potential forward option, the Brazilian is also on the radar of several teams.

Rivals Manchester United want Cunha in the summer too, making for a potential battle in the transfer market for Andrea Berta.

The Red Devils may be a pain for Arsenal in that regard, with Ruben Amorim’s side looking at another Premier League forward on the radar for the north London side.

Manchester United join Arsenal in race for Bryan Mbeumo transfer

A winger is on the cards for the Gunners this summer, with more goals needed from Mikel Arteta’s side.

Among those linked with a transfer to Arsenal is Bryan Mbeumo.

The Brentford forward has been consistently impressive since winning promotion to the Premier League with the Bees.

It comes as little surprise, then, that there is interest in his services, with Manchester United the latest to join that race.

Reports from the Telegraph claim that Mbeumo is high up on Man United’s transfer shortlist, but he won’t come cheap.

Brentford are willing to let Mbeumo leave, but a £60million price tag has been set on any possible deal.

With no fixed release clause in his contract, interest from Arsenal and Man United could spark a potential bidding war.

That may make any move tough for Andrea Berta, with the sporting director facing a challenge to land the goal scorers that the team needs.

Bryan Mbeumo has proven why Arsenal and Man United want him

In an age of transfers where it is difficult to tell exactly how good some players are, Mbeumo has put the debate to rest with Brentford.

Over his stay in the Premier League, the forward has only managed to get better and better, consistently finding the back of the net.

The Arsenal and Manchester United transfer target has already landed 18 goals in the Premier League this season for the Bees, as they make a late charge for European football.
