Arsenal have been successful on and off the pitch against Real Madrid lately.

The Gunners battered the Galacticos 5-1 over two legs in the Champions League last season, and they have hurt them in the transfer market as well.

Real Madrid wanted William Saliba, but the Gunners convinced him to stay. Andrea Berta rejected Los Blancos’ approach for Gabriel Magalhaes recently as well.

Now, the Spanish giants are eyeing moves for two Arsenal youngsters – Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman.

Real Madrid add Arsenal wonderkids Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman to their shortlist

Real Madrid are the biggest club in the world.

Florentino Perez has created a giant over the years, and he rarely ends up on the losing side when he goes in to sign players.

However, Arsenal have found a way to get the better of the Real Madrid president repeatedly. Saliba and Gabriel are two great examples, while the Gunners landed Martin Zubimendi as well despite Los Blancos’ interest.

Now, Berta needs to do it again, as TeamTalk have revealed that Nwaneri and Dowman are on Real Madrid’s list of targets.

The Spanish heavyweights are looking at several young English players, and the two Arsenal wonderkids are part of their eight-player list.

To hear that Real Madrid are interested in your players is always a concern, but the Premier League leaders have fended off interest in the past, and they can do it again.

Why Arsenal should not be concerned about Real Madrid’s interest in Dowman and Nwaneri

Dowman and Nwaneri are among the best young players in world football, so it is not a big surprise that Real Madrid are looking at them.

However, Arsenal are well protected.

The Gunners convinced Nwaneri to sign a new contract that has secured his future until 2030. Dowman, too, has committed his future by putting pen to paper on a pre-contract for a longer-term deal that will officially be signed once he turns 17.

Real Madrid’s interest in the two players is not something Arsenal can ignore, but they don’t have to fear the Galacticos either.

As things stand, Arsenal have no risk of losing either Nwaneri or Dowman to any club against their wish.
