Transfer deadline day is just around the corner, and for Arsenal, there could still be some deals in the pipeline.
Andrea Berta has worked hard to complete plenty of incoming signings, having bolstered Mikel Arteta’s options for the season ahead.
While there may be a surprise or two around the corner, it seems likely that most of the signings are done at Arsenal for now.
Instead, focus is likely to shift towards sales, as there are a few members of the squad who can be moved on.
Many of them don’t seem to have a place in Arteta’s plans, which was only cemented by his decisions in Arsenal’s win over Leeds.

Mikel Arteta leaving Reiss Nelson out of the Arsenal squad hints at transfer exit latest
Mikel Arteta has made some bold decisions so far this season, but certainly among them has been naming Max Dowman in the squad for Arsenal’s clash with Leeds.
Dowman made his debut during the game, aged just 15, while several other senior professionals were left out.
That included Reiss Nelson, who plays in a similar position, and was left out of the squad entirely.
Many may argue that the 25-year-old could’ve made a more immediate impact on the game if he was needed, though it certainly points towards the Arsenal manager thinking about the future.
Nelson has been linked with a return to Fulham, but there is no indication as to how close the move is at this stage, with just days remaining in the transfer window.
It would mark a frustrating end to the Hale End academy star’s career at the club, having spent so long working his way to the senior side.
Nelson was a feature in some teams under Arteta during his tenure so far, with the manager claiming in 2022: “We think the potential is there and we think we’ve seen something in Reiss that is special.”
However, the lack of game time and some bad luck with injuries have left him out of the team and seemingly closing in on an exit.
The winger isn’t the only one, though, as three others were also left out of the squad and could be facing an exit.

Three other Arsenal stars were absent from the Leeds clash amid transfer exit rumours
While there were injury problems for Arsenal, causing some stars to miss out on the game, there were a few who were seemingly fit and healthy but didn’t feature at all.
Nelson was one of those, but he was joined by Oleksandr Zinchenko, who has been rumoured with an exit this summer.
Beyond him, the returning loan duo of Fabio Vieira and Albert Sambi Lokonga were also sidelined, despite no availability issue for either.
It seems to mark out the four players who could be free to leave before transfer deadline day, but finding a landing spot for them is the bigger challenge.
There isn’t much time for those sales to go through, as the market enters the final few days.
