Arsenal take on Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, and Troy Deeney has made his prediction ahead of the clash.
The Gunners have won both of their opening two matches, thrashing Leeds last week after narrowly beating Manchester United at Old Trafford before that.
Liverpool just about overcame 10-man Newcastle at St. James’ Park on Monday, with Rio Ngumoha’s 100th-minute winner dramatically securing Arne Slot’s side all three points.
With both teams level on six points, this showdown in the north-west could have a significant bearing on who breaks away at the top of the table in the early part of the season.

Troy Deeney makes Liverpool vs Arsenal prediction
Arsenal will be without Bukayo Saka for their trip to Anfield, while Martin Odegaard is a doubt with a shoulder injury sustained against Leeds.
The Gunners also won’t have Kai Havertz or Gabriel Jesus at their disposal, while Ben White and Christian Norgaard are both facing late fitness tests.
Meanwhile, Liverpool will be without Jermie Frimpong, although they will have Alexis Mac Allister available after the Argentine was passed fit following an injury.
Despite the Merseysiders boasting a fitter squad, Troy Deeney has still backed Mikel Arteta’s side to secure a point at the storied old ground.
Speaking on the Football Exchange YouTube channel, Deeney issued his prediction for the encounter in the north-west on Sunday.
“I think we could get like a 1-0 or a 1-1 either way,” he said.
“I’m going to go 1-1.”
Deeney thinks Kai Havertz will outscore Viktor Gyokeres this season, so he’s certainly partial to a contentious Arsenal take.
That said, given how the two sides have started the new season, predicting a draw certainly feels reasonable.

Arsenal haven’t won at Anfield since 2012
Arsenal and Liverpool were surprised by the timing of this fixture, both feeling it’s not ideal given neither team is fully fit and at their peak physical level.
Indeed, the Gunners have usually travelled to Merseyside later in the season, although this has ultimately had little impact on their success at Anfield.
The North Londoners haven’t won at the famous stadium in the league since beating Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool 2-0 in September 2012.

Santi Cazorla and Lukas Podolski both scored their first Arsenal goals that day, in what was Rodgers’ fourth game in charge on Merseyside.
While the Gunners’ record has been poor away at Liverpool, they have managed to stop the rot somewhat in recent times, ending a six-match losing run between 2016 and 2022 with three draws in their last three visits.
