Arsenal are preparing for the Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain.
Though Arsenal are two games away from the Champions League final, Mikel Arteta must still combat the remaining challenges in the Premier League.
After the Gunners’ resounding win over Real Madrid, the North Londoners returned to Premier League action as Arsenal beat Ipswich Town 4-0.
Even though the fixture saw Arsenal return to winning ways in the Premier League after consecutive draws, talk surrounding the Champions League still found a way in.

French media send warning to PSG about Arsenal
Until Arsenal’s run in the Champions League ends, the primary narrative around the North Londoners will be their hope for European silverware.
Arsenal’s 4-0 win over Ipswich was connected to the upcoming Champions League semi-final, as the media in France paid attention to the result and, most importantly, the performance behind it.
L’Equipe sent a warning to PSG after the Gunners’ dominant win, compiling a piece about Arteta’s greatest threat, Bukayo Saka.
The piece started as Saka’s treatment with an ice pack after being substituted was noticed, and then, the French outlet sung the winger’s praises.
Saka was credited for causing Ipswich ‘immense misery’, as the 23-year-old’s fast return to being ‘back to his best’ after injury was applauded.
Though the piece was put together to warn PSG of the ‘formidable’ Saka, one subject was raised to make the Parisians aware that the Hale End graduate isn’t Luis Enrique’s only concern.
L’Equipe described Saka’s connection with Martin Odegaard as being ‘above all’, the threat that could dump PSG out of the Champions League.
Odegaard was untouchable against Ipswich, as the French site noted, painting Arsenal as a squad that will present a mountain for PSG to climb.
‘Nine days before hosting Paris, the Gunners are armed,’ the piece written by Damien Degorre concluded, as Enrique was warned about the Gunners.
Bukayo Saka has returned from injury like he never left
Putting Odegaard’s performance aside, there’s every reason for PSG to be concerned about Saka, who has returned from injury as if he were never away.
It took the winger only seven minutes to score on his return against Fulham, but that’s not the only measurement of Saka’s readiness to compete.
| Minutes | Goals | Assists | Dribbles attempted | Key passes |
| 304 | 2 | 0 | 11 | 9 |
Since being subbed on against Fulham, the winger has played 304 minutes, where he’s attempted 11 dribbles and pulled off nine key passes, letting everyone know that he’s back and battling to be better than ever.
The Parisians will be well aware of what the Englishman can do, as Saka scored against PSG back in October, with an even bigger meeting now awaiting the two clubs.
