Arsenal fans are dealing with a number of emotional departures this summer.
Jorginho’s emotional farewell began the exodus of several first-team stars as he joined Brazilian side Flamengo on a free transfer.
Kieran Tierney has joined Celtic after enjoying a six-year spell at the Emirates Stadium, becoming a fan favourite with his no-nonsense approach and commitment in defence.
Raheem Sterling has gone back to parent club Chelsea at the end of his loan spell and after being released from his contract, a Hale End star, who made his debut under Mikel Arteta this season has now sent a heartfelt message upon his departure.

Nathan Butler-Oyedeji sends heartfelt message upon Arsenal exit
Nathan Butler-Oyedeji has taken to his Instagram account to send a message to Arsenal following his release.
The 22-year-old made his Premier League and Champions League debuts this season but was unable to earn a new deal at the Gunners. He is leaving with nothing but love for the club however.
Butler-Oyedeji wrote: “After 14 years at this club my time at Arsenal has come to an end. I would like to thank firstly God for giving me the opportunity to realise my dream for playing for Arsenal.
“I want to extend my appreciation to the first team, my parents, all coaches, physios, chefs and cleaners and teammates I’ve worked alongside with and most importantly the life blood of the club, the fans.
“I want to thank everyone who has supported me along the way through my hardships and through my good times. Arsenal will always hold a special place in my heart as being a boyhood Arsenal fan it was a dream come true to make my debut for the club.
“I will always be a part of the Arsenal family. I look forward to where my journey takes me next.”
Nathan Butler-Oyedeji yet to decide on next transfer move
Butler-Oyedeji is wanted by Lausanne Sport in Switzerland but is yet to decide on his next move as personal terms are still to be agreed.
Any potential deal would net the Gunners £300k and Norwich had shown an interest in Butler-Oyedeji back in April.

Ethan Nwaneri is a big fan of Butler-Oyedeji and the striker must now make a crucial decision in his next career move.
At 22, he will want to be playing regular first-team football where he can develop his game and gain valuable experience moving forward.
