Arsenal fans are not happy with how the January transfer window went, as Mikel Arteta’s side failed to sign a player.
All eyes were on Arsenal on transfer deadline day after Arteta’s plea to sign a forward.
The Gunners’ injury list prompted the club’s hierarchy to study the January transfer market but, the right player was never unearthed.
Despite having a £40m bid for Ollie Watkins rejected, Arsenal’s activity in the window was limited, leaving fans unhappy with how deadline day ended.

Arsenal loanee Maldini Kacurri links up with Carl Jenkinson
While there were links to several players, Arsenal did not welcome a player in January, leaving Arteta’s front line concerningly low on depth.
Stan and Josh Kroenke have a lot to answer for if the summer transfer window is not more successful, with the winter leaving a lot to be desired.
Though the focus was on incomings, one deadline-day move did unfold at Arsenal, as academy defender Maldini Kacurri joined Bromley on loan.
Several academy stars were linked to exits before deadline day, with Kacurri being snatched up late by the League Two outfit.
Bromley, who are 16th in League Two, wasted no time in utilising the talent of Kacurri, handing him a start in their meeting with Salford City, which ended in a 3-3 draw.
While the scoreline earned the headlines, it was another part of the game that alerted Arsenal fans, as Kacurri lined up alongside former Gunner Carl Jenkinson.
In September 2024, Bromley signed Jenkinson, with Kacurri now a teammate of the ex-Arsenal defender who made 41 appearances for his boyhood club.
How Kacurri fared on Bromley debut
The night didn’t go to plan for Jenkinson who was hauled off injured after 44 minutes but, it went well for debutant Kacurri.
Maldini Kacurri’s Bromley debut
78 minutes played
11 clearances
2 blocks
1 interception
2 tackles
5 duels won
3/7 long balls completed
After making his debut for Arsenal in the Carabao Cup earlier in the season, the 19-year-old was given the chance to show his worth again at senior level.
Bromley will surely be satisfied with how the loanee fared on his debut, with his impact in defence clear through his statistics.
It’s funny how football works, seeing Kacurri line up alongside Jenkinson who despite not being a memorable figure on the pitch, was always well-loved at the Emirates.
