Arsenal have already suffered a repeat of their injury woes from last season.
Arsenal’s injury crisis last season decimated their chances of landing the Premier League title, with the Gunners strike force hit the hardest.
At the start of this campaign, Bukayo Saka has been ruled out for a month with another hamstring injury and there are doubts over Ben White and Martin Odegaard for the crucial clash at Anfield.
In addition, Kai Havertz has undergone knee surgery with Mikel Arteta unsure as to how long he will be without the German forward. William Saliba has shown his support for his teammate.

William Saliba sends supportive message to Kai Havertz after knee surgery
Havertz vowed to return quickly in a recent message to Arsenal fans but must be incredibly frustrated at picking up another injury so soon after undergoing hamstring surgery last season.
Saliba has taken to his Instagram account to send three heart emojis to the Arsenal forward in a clear show of support following his latest surgery.

Arteta has said Havertz is in a ‘good place’ despite his latest setback but he will have to contend with watching from the stands for the next few weeks at least.
Despite the arrival of Viktor Gyokeres, Havertz is a key player for the Gunners and will be particularly missed in the games against the fellow ‘big six’ sides.
His physical presence and ability to occupy both centre backs allows space for his teammates to operate around him and there is no doubt Arsenal will be willing him back as quickly as possible.
William Saliba has demanded Arsenal win the Premier League title this season
As per the Irish Examiner, Saliba was speaking at the recent PFA Awards where he was named in the Premier League team of the season.
The French defender has demanded that his side go one better this campaign after finishing second in the last three seasons.

Saliba stated: “Of course we’ve finished second for three years in a row, and we know that we always miss something.
“Now it’s a new season, we have to see what we didn’t do well enough to win the league. We won the first game and of course we want to win the league, and we will give everything. We have to try to be even better than the last three seasons to win this league.”
