Andrea Berta must avoid Arsenal transfer blunder for ‘incredible’ star due to one key reason

Arsenal are under pressure to find the right recruitment this summer.

Benjamin Sesko’s asking price could tempt Andrea Berta to turn to Viktor Gyokeres in his pursuit of a centre forward.

Arsenal have enquired about Arda Guler in addition to the club’s interest in Real Madrid winger Rodrygo as Mikel Arteta chases further attacking options out wide.

Leroy Sane is another name that is being monitored by the club but Arsenal fans have reacted angrily to Sane links. The Gunners would be wise to listen to their fans after one worrying problem emerged with the German winger.

Arsenal should avoid signing Leroy Sane due to injury problems

There is no doubt that Sane possesses the talent and experience that would help to bolster the Arsenal squad.

Thierry Henry is a fan of Sane but the Gunners need to consider the fitness concerns of the former Manchester City star over the last couple of seasons.

Leroy Sane’s recent injury record via Transfermarkt

Arsenal’s injury crisis this season has hampered their bid to win a trophy and the last thing they need is to now sign players with their own availability issues.

A winger with pace and trickery is the way forward this summer however, Arsenal should be looking elsewhere away from the Bayern Munich star.

Would Leroy Sane repeat Manchester City success at Arsenal?

Pep Guardiola loved Sane during his time in the Premier League with Manchester City and labelled him an ‘incredible player’.

However, Sane has had his fitness problems at Bayern Munich and he is often questioned over his final ball or decision making at the crucial moments.

Arsenal are linked with Kaoru Mitoma and have held a long-term interest in Nico Williams and supporters will be hoping the club take a chance on a younger and fresher option.

Berta is eyeing a number of attacking targets and the Gunners should learn from past transfer blunders such as Raheem Sterling and Willian that sometimes a punt on a younger prospect is required.
