Arsenal are looking to win consecutive matches in the Premier League as they prepare to welcome Crystal Palace.
The Gunners are still on a high after their brilliant Champions League performance over Real Madrid and it showed during their 4-0 demolition of Ipswich Town.
Andrea Berta has begun work at the Emirates Stadium this month and is already formulating plans ahead of a big summer for Arsenal.
Arsenal made contact with Matheus Cunha in the January transfer window and the Wolves forward is set to once again be high on Mikel Arteta’s list.
However, Arsenal have some reservations over Cunha and given his recent ill-discipline, it would be wise to pursue other targets who are making a real name for themselves in the Premier League.

Arsenal should sign Morgan Rogers over Matheus Cunha
With Arteta looking at forward options this summer, Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers should be higher than Cunha on his shopping list.
As per The Independent, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has just labelled the Villa man ‘exceptional’ and his performances this season have backed that claim up.
Rogers has made 48 appearances in all competitions for Unai Emery this campaign and contributed an impressive 14 goals and 13 assists as Villa look to secure a top five finish in the league.
At 22, he fits Arsenal’s transfer model of buying players that the club can develop and his versatility also makes him an attractive option – Rogers can play as a number ten, number eight or on either wing.
His running power and ability to carry the ball is something that many fans believe Martin Odegaard is missing from his game but Rogers may be able to play in tandem with the Gunners skipper.
Morgan Rogers v Matheus Cunha statistics this season
Both Rogers and Cunha are having fine seasons with their clubs but the Villa man would prove to be the better piece of business for the Gunners.
Arsenal tried to sign Ollie Watkins in January with Aston Villa flirting on the borders of PSR rules and a similar opportunity could arise in the summer window with Rogers.
| Morgan Rogers vMatheus Cunha this season (all competitions) | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| Rogers | 48 | 14 | 13 |
| Cunha | 31 | 16 | 4 |
Rogers has also demonstrated this season that he can handle the rigours of playing in four competitions, whilst still producing consistently impressive performances.
If Berta and Arteta can prize him away from Villa Park, Arsenal would have an ‘exceptional’ young talent on their hands that could drive the Gunners nearer that elusive league title next season.
