Cole Palmer will be looking at Arsenal right now and becoming very worried about the issues he could face in breaking back into the England team.

Currently, Noni Madueke, Eberechi Eze and Bukayo Saka are all outperforming him this season, meaning his place in the team now looks rather uncertain.

Madueke produced an incredible performance against Club Brugge in the Champions League on Wednesday as he continues to go from strength to strength at the Emirates Stadium.

Meanwhile, Saka and Eze are also having great campaigns in North London, and both impressed Thomas Tuchel during the last England camp.

Which of these four England attackers is having the best season? 🔥

Do you back any of them to start under Thomas Tuchel at the 2026 World Cup?

Noni Madueke, Eberechi Eze and Bukayo Saka are all outperforming Cole Palmer

Cole Palmer’s spot in the England team is starting to look doubtful, given how good the Arsenal trio Madueke, Eze and Saka have all been this season.

The Chelsea attacker will be hoping to fill either the right wing spot or the number ten under Tuchel, but now faces strong competition.

Under Gareth Southgate at Euro 2024, Palmer often found himself on the bench, with Saka starting on the right wing.

Saka is almost a guaranteed start for England on the right at next summer’s World Cup, and now Madueke is also offering him competition.

Madueke has been a real revelation at Arsenal following his controversial £55 million move and is becoming a serious threat to Palmer’s position in the squad.

Then, in the number ten role, Eze’s hat-trick against Tottenham was a real statement of intent to play there at the World Cup. Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden are also set to fight it out for that central role.

Palmer’s season has been blighted by injuries, but he’s going to need to step up soon with Arsenal’s attacking trio looking so strong.

Thomas Tuchel is a big fan of Bukayo Saka and Noni Madueke

Tuchel has made it no secret that he is a big fan of both Saka and Madueke, having hailed the duo back.

When asked about Madueke now pushing Saka for the right wing spot back in October, Tuchel told the media: “Good. That’s what we want. Noni was excellent in the last camp; he was electric.

“He then continued to play for his club while Bukayo was out for Arsenal in the same manner. We were very, very sad that he’s now injured, but Saka stepped up. He had to step up, also.”

At Arsenal, it is set to be rather interesting to see who will take the right wing spot, although Martin Keown wants Eze and Madueke to start together.
