Arsenal fans will have their own opinions on who the club should be signing this summer.

Many fans are divided over whether Andrea Berta should pursue Benjamin Sesko or Viktor Gyokeres in the search for a striker.

Sesko appears to be Arsenal’s choice and RB Leipzig have reportedly lowered their asking price to £59.7m for the Slovenian international.

Mikel Arteta wants at least one winger too, Arsenal have enquired over Eberechi Eze but another target has emerged. The Gunners must steer clear of this wide man and the fans are all in agreement on this one.

Arsenal must not sign Ademola Lookman given his Premier League record

Arsenal are interested in Ademola Lookman from Serie A side Atalanta and have held talks with the 27-year-old.

Lookman has been on Arsenal’s radar for over a year now and chose to sign Raheem Sterling on loan ahead of the Nigerian last summer.

Arsenal fans are against signing Lookman with one supporter describing him as a ‘pointless’ signing. The fans have good reasons for their belief with Lookman’s Premier League record.

Lookman spent time at Everton, Fulham and Leicester City before moving to Italy, where he has improved as a player.

Given the Gunners’ desperation for a major trophy this season, Lookman is not the kind of ceiling-raising signing that the fans will be hoping for.

Which winger should Arsenal sign?

Berta is being patient with Rodrygo and the Brazilian would be the number one choice of many supporters.

However, Arteta likes Premier League experience with his signings and Eze has impressed for Crystal Palace during his time at Selhurst Park.

Eze would be a different kind of winger to Rodrygo, not as direct and pacey but he has exceptional technique and could drift inside to use his creativity.

It would be a statement signing to excite Arsenal fans and one that could unlock the Gunners’ incredible attacking potential.
