The Gunners are expected to make several moves before Friday night, with both departures and arrivals poised to take place.

Mikel Arteta and Edu are working hard to deliver the necessary deals before the deadline, with talk currently dominated by goalkeepers.

Aaron Ramsdale is expected to leave and Joan Garcia is being targetted however, between the sticks isn’t the only area where action is happening.

Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman has emerged as a target, with Arsenal able to offer a particularly attractive proposition to the player for one remarkable reason.

Arsenal can make Kingsley Coman’s Bolton Wanderers dream come true with transfer

Many French players arrive in North London with some kind of affiliation to Arsenal, given the magnificent array of French talent the Gunners possessed under Arsene Wenger.

Arsenal are a culture club and are adored worldwide for that reason however, in the case of Coman, the winger wouldn’t necessarily arrive at the Emirates with a soft spot for Wenger’s regime.

In an interview with ESPN, the Frenchman revealed that it’s a different club from England that he supports, one that will shock many.

When asked about his favourite club in the UK, Coman answered, “Bolton,” giving the reason that he liked the team when he was young.

Diving beneath the surface level of League One side Bolton today, Coman’s reasons become clearer, with French heroes Nicolas Anelka and Youri Djorkaeff both former players of The Trotters.

Arsenal play Bolton in the Carabao Cup

With the knowledge of Coman’s favourite club in mind, Arsenal could be about to hand the Champions League winner a dream scenario.

In the instance that the winger was to join Arteta’s project, the 28-year-old could face his boyhood club, as the Gunners just learned their Carabao Cup fate.

In the third round of the Carabao Cup, Arsenal will play Bolton at the Emirates, giving Coman the opportunity to play against The Trotters.

It would be astonishing timing for the Frenchman to arrive in North London, as the contest will represent the first time that the two clubs have gone head-to-head since the 2011/12 campaign.

Only time will tell if Coman is pursued as a primary target for Arsenal, with things to become clear by tomorrow night’s deadline.
