The future of Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah remains uncertain heading into the final two weeks of the summer transfer window.
The forward received just nine Premier League starts last campaign as Mikel Arteta favoured Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus at centre-forward.
With that in mind, the summer transfer window has brought about plenty of transfer links for the Hale End Academy graduate.
Ligue 1 giants Olympique Marseille were linked with a transfer for Nketiah – but eventually pulled out of the race for the striker.
Then there was Bournemouth who eyed Nketiah, however, they eventually paid out £40million to sign Evanilson from FC Porto.
That has since left Nketiah in an uncertain position, having been an unused substitute in Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Wolves on the opening weekend of the season.

Eddie Nketiah transfer latest
So with interest from the other parties now gone, it appeared as though a stay at London Colney was on the cards for Nketiah.
However, new suitors have entered the battle to sign the 25-year-old this summer.
According to The Athletic, Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest have had an opening bid of £25million rejected by Arsenal for the striker.
Talks are still ongoing though, with the report adding that the Gunners are willing to accept roughly £30million-to-£35million to let Nketiah leave.
Fellow English outfit Crystal Palace are also in the frame, though it remains to be seen if they will put forward an offer.

What Eddie Nketiah transfer exit means for Arsenal
Should Arsenal confirm an exit for Nketiah in the coming days, it may mean that the Gunners enter the market for another striker option.
Viktor Gyokeres has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal this summer, following reported interest in the Swedish international.
Victor Osimhen is another option for Arsenal, though he looks set for a switch to rivals Chelsea in the coming weeks.
Other names may well appear on the club’s radar in the event of Nketiah leaving, so it’s a situation to keep a keen eye on.
