Arsenal are desperately searching for a new attacker in the January transfer window.
Mikel Arteta has two weeks until transfer deadline day when Arsenal’s fate for the remainder of the season will be decided.
Arsenal have been urged to sign a new forward before the end of the month, emphasised by a lacklustre start to 2025.
Several forwards have been linked to Arsenal but there’s still all the work to do before Arteta can integrate a new player into his squad.

Arsenal transfer interest in Mohamed Amoura confirmed
Benjamin Sesko’s links to Arsenal are ongoing as the RB Leipzig talisman continues to impress in Germany.
While Sesko would be a dream signing for the Gunners, the Slovenian isn’t the only player in the Bundesliga wanted by Arteta.
That’s according to a report from Kicker, who confirmed Arsenal’s interest in VfL Wolfsburg forward Mohamed Amoura.
Wolfsburg signed Amoura in the summer and Kicker outlined the Gunners’ interest in the 24-year-old at the time, making Arsenal’s presence known.
The German outlet’s report concerned how valuable Amoura is to Wolfsburg right now and ‘how long’ the Bundesliga outfit can keep hold of their forward.
It’s cited that ‘Arsenal already had’ Amoura on their transfer list before he signed for Wolfsburg, but it’s unknown whether Arteta’s side will go back in for the versatile striker once more.
How much Arsenal would have to pay for Mohamed Amoura?
Arsenal were linked to Amoura before the 2024 summer transfer window and the target ended up joining Wolfsburg, where he’s since contributed to 14 goals in 18 appearances.
Wolfsburg paid a fee in the region of €17m (£14m) to sign Amoura however, if Arsenal were to renew their interest, the player could cost a lot more.
| Mohamed Amoura | Kai Havertz | Gabriel Jesus | |

| Assists | 6 | 2 | 0 |
| Mins per goal | 162 | 208 | 209 |
| Expected goals | 4.44xG | 8.41xG | 2.99xG |

Kicker focused on the forward’s future in their piece detailing Arsenal’s interest, insisting that the Algerian is not for sale this winter but, could be pried away for the right price in the summer.
If Arsenal were to consider the 24-year-old in the summer, it’s understood that an offer ‘more than €40m’ (£33m) would need to be tabled.
Amoura has scored eight times in the Bundesliga this season, winning the approval of Wolfsburg fans rapidly.
