Arsenal will know that they need a more successful summer transfer window than the previous efforts in January.
Arsenal attempted to sign Ollie Watkins in a late January bid but their efforts were thwarted by Aston Villa and ultimately alongside injuries to Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus, it cost Arsenal a shot at the Premier League title.
Fans would love a world-class striker this summer and the Gunners are interested in bringing Alexander Isak and Benjamin Sesko to the Emirates Stadium, whilst also chasing winger Nico Williams.
Frankfurt’s Huge Ekitike is also of interest to Arsenal but Mikel Arteta has already missed out on one transfer target after the players silence on the move was broken recently.

Arsenal transfer target Arda Guler break silence on future
Arsenal have shown an interest in Arda Guler as similarities between the Real Madrid man and Gunners captain Martin Odegaard have alerted figures in North London.
However, as per Marca, the Turkish international has opened up for the first time on his future following speculation linking him with a move away from Madrid.
Guler stated: “Madrid gave me a plan and I still believe in it. I’m sure I’ll succeed at Madrid, I’ve even bought a house in Madrid. I work very hard and I’m always ready to play, as you could see in this match against Hungary.
“I love the Real Madrid fans and their support is a great value to me, I am very grateful to them. I came to Real Madrid to play and be an important part of this team. And I’m not going to stop fighting until I get it.”
Jose Mourinho praised ‘exceptional’ Guler
Guler has struggled to kick on from his impressive European Championships at Real Madrid this season, hence the transfer links with the likes of Arsenal.
The playmaker has made just 18 appearances in La Liga this season, with most of those coming from the bench but as per Bein Sports, was once labelled ‘exceptional’ by Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho stated: ““Arda is showing great personality and exceptional quality. To play at that club, personality is crucial. Players must internalize that they are good enough to play there. They can’t be afraid.”

The emergence of Ethan Nwaneri has changed Arsenal’s transfer plans in that the Hale End gem can cover both Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard.
However, there can be no doubting the talent of Guler and something that the Gunners have lacked this season is squad depth with the number of injuries and suspensions.
