Arsenal’s transfer deadline day has largely surrounded their need to move players on, with several stars facing an exit.

Fabio Vieira and Albert Sambi Lokonga are primed to join Hamburger SV, with the duo looking to kickstart their careers again.

Jakub Kiwior is lined up for Porto, as the defender is in search of more game time for the coming season.

Arsenal are looking to move on Reiss Nelson, who has had interest from the Premier League in the final days of the window.

And yet, while all of those deals are ongoing, there is one star who seems more and more unlikely to leave the Emirates Stadium, with Arsenal now struggling to get a deal done.

Oleksandr Zinchenko set for Arsenal stay as transfer talks stall

Oleksandr Zinchenko has been linked with an Arsenal exit, as he appears to be firmly out of Mikel Arteta’s plans.

The former Manchester City man has yet to feature in a Premier League squad this season, as other options sit above him in the pecking order.

While Marseille were in talks to sign Zinchenko, it seems as though a deal may well have collapsed.

According to Daily Mail reporter Isaan Khan, an exit for the Ukrainian international now seems unlikely, bar a shock twist in events.

That stay could be costly, as he is one of Arsenal’s highest earners, following his impressive move from Man City.

It could mark a sad end to Zinchenko’s time at Arsenal, given the initial impact he had made at the club.

Which markets are still open for Oleksandr Zinchenko to move to

Zinchenko isn’t happy at Arsenal, and he made as much clear in a recent interview where he discussed how tough it is not to be playing football.

The defender will be fuming if a move doesn’t go through, especially with the main European markets coming to a close soon.

There are still some opportunities for moves elsewhere, though, as the Saudi Pro League window doesn’t close until September 10.

Turkey also have their own window open until September 11, with those two markets seeming most likely to sign any big players with their finances available.

It remains to be seen if that is a possible solution for Zinchenko, as his options surrounding a move run out.
