Ben White’s future at Arsenal is a situation ‘to keep an eye on’ Arsenal Insider understands.
White missed the clash with Crystal Palace amid more fitness ‘issues’ according to Mikel Arteta and has struggled to find a consistent run in the team since returning from knee surgery.
The defender completed his first 90 minutes in the Premier League since November in the win over Ipswich Town but is finding it difficult to dislodge Jurrien Timber from the right back spot.
Jakub Kiwior’s impressive performances have also meant that White has not been used as William Saliba’s centre back partner following the injury to Gabriel Magalhaes and there could be a situation developing with his future at the Emirates Stadium.

Ben White’s Arsenal future ‘one to watch’
Sol Campbell is a big fan of White but the England international is currently out of favour at the Gunners following his fitness struggles.
TBR Football’s transfer expert Graeme Bailey has Arsenal Insider that White’s situation in North London is ‘one to watch’ in the coming months.
Bailey stated: “Ben White’s situation is one to keep an eye on, we have seen Jurrien Timber come in and being, well, brilliant.
“But Arsenal are looking for another central defender to go with William Saliba and Gabriel, but I think it curious that they are not just moving White back in there.
“Let’s see how it pans out, but White has England aspirations once again and if he is not playing, he could be one to watch.”
Ben White can still be key to Mikel Arteta’s plans
Arsenal want to fight on all four front next season as their ability to cope with key injuries has undermined their challenge this campaign.
Arteta must resist selling White as tempting as it may be because he would command a significant figure and there would be plenty of interest.

The 27-year-old has endured the most difficult season he has faced since joining from Brighton but still has the quality to make an impact on Arteta’s side next season.
His versatility and his incredible understanding with Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard means he is a player that the Gunners cannot afford to lose.
