A number of players could leave Arsenal before the summer transfer window comes to a close.
Arsenal have not been hugely busy yet in this transfer window. David Raya’s loan switch was converted into a permanent move, and Riccardo Calafiori has been welcomed to the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners will still be keen to get more business done, though. Mikel Merino will join Arsenal, and there will also be a focus on completing sales.
Four players could leave Arsenal in the coming days, including striker Eddie Nketiah.
The once-capped England international clearly isn’t central to Mikel Arteta’s plans, and needs to be playing regular football at this stage in his career.
A move would do the Hale End academy graduate good, as it would afford him the chance to establish himself as a regular starter elsewhere. However, the Gunners will not let Nketiah go in any kind of cut price deal, and sporting director Edu Gaspar will insist that the North London club’s demands are met.

Arsenal transfer stance on Eddie Nketiah
Arsenal Insider sources have exclusively revealed that it is currently a fluid situation concerning Nketiah.
Arsenal are not ruling out Nottingham Forest at all, but a switch to the City Ground was never a done deal – the Midlands outfit were, and are, talking to multiple strikers, including Nketiah.
Crystal Palace have a long-standing interest, and the player’s camp are doing their part. Arsenal are ready to sanction a loan with a mandatory buy option. If nobody agrees to that, they may consider a loan without an obligation to buy, but Arteta is not against keeping him, so it is unlikely they would accept such a deal.
This week will be key – if Nketiah agitates for the move, that may force Arsenal’s hand – but there has been little sign of that thus far.
Nottingham Forest could give up on Nketiah, though, as it seems that they have decided to focus on another target. Therefore, Arsenal will be hoping that Crystal Palace solidify their interest with an offer, and soon.
Will Arsenal replace Nketiah?
Arsenal have an opportunity to sign Victor Osimhen, if they act fast. The Gunners could hijack the deal for the Nigerian striker, and Nketiah’s exit would create space in Arteta’s squad for a new forward.
However, it could be that Arteta is happy with Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, and Leandro Trossard as his options to lead the line, and wouldn’t feel the need to replace Nketiah in a like-for-like manner.
