Catch all the latest Arsenal news today, including William Saliba’s thoughts on Viktor Gyokeres and a possible record breaker.
It’s been a bright start to the week at Arsenal, as Mikel Arteta’s side continue their pre-season tour of Asia.
So far, the Gunners have played AC Milan and Newcastle United in Singapore, winning both matches.
Next, the Arsenal squad will travel to Hong Kong to play the first-ever overseas North London Derby, where some new faces will hope to get the chance to impress.
While the players get stuck into pre-season, the transfer window is ticking away, with Andrea Berta continuing the strong work on that front.
So, with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal news ahead of another busy day.

Alessia Russo’s opportunity to become an Arsenal history maker
The talk of the country is England Women’s European Championship win, as Sarina Wiegman’s side went back-to-back at the tournament.
Plenty of Arsenal players travelled back to the UK with winners’ medals, as Chloe Kelly, Michelle Agyemang, Leah Williamson, Lotte Wubben-Moy, Beth Mead and Alessia Russo celebrated long into the night.
It’s been quite the year for the English Gunners, winning a major international trophy following the Arsenal Women’s Champions League win.
One player who will be as delighted as anyone to win the two trophies is Russo, who is also a contender to win the Ballon d’Or.
If the 26-year-old were to win the individual prize, she’d become the first Arsenal player, women or men, to win the trophy.

William Saliba’s praise of Viktor Gyokeres
It’s been a bright start to the week for Arteta’s side too, as on Saturday, the Gunners unveiled the signing of Viktor Gyokeres.
Gyokeres’ arrival excited the Arsenal squad, and it’s fair to say that the Swede is just as excited to get going.
One player who has spoken about the striker’s arrival is William Saliba, who gave an insight into what it’s like to face the 27-year-old.
“We know how good he is, it’s scary to play against him. Of course, I’m so happy to have him in my club, and I’m sure that he will help us to win games and win trophies.”

Granit Xhaka set for Emirates return
One of the shocks of the transfer window from an Arsenal point of view is, interestingly, a story breaking away from North London.
Former Gunner Granit Xhaka is on his way back to the Premier League, as he prepares to leave Bayer Leverkusen to sign for Sunderland.
It will be astonishing for Arsenal fans to see the midfielder line up against his former club in a Premier League setting, with his competitive Emirates return date now set.

Declan Rice sings Max Dowman’s praises
A talking point from the pre-season action so far is Max Dowman.
Already, we’re running out of words to describe the Hale End star, who is only 15 years old, born in 2009.
Dowman was incredible against Newcastle, shining in the 30-minute cameo Arteta handed him, inviting compliments from his teammates.
Declan Rice sent his teenage teammate a message on social media, commenting, “15 you know” in response to Dowman’s Instagram post.
