Arsenal are facing the possibility of entering the transfer market yet again this summer after Kai Havertz’s injury.
The Gunners suffered through much of last season with players out of action, especially in the forward line, which made them blunt in attack.
In an attempt to avoid the same fate, Andrea Berta has entered the market, signing Noni Madueke and Viktor Gyokeres to reinforce the ranks.
However, a knee injury to Kai Havertz now means he faces a potential spell on the sidelines as he recovers, leaving Mikel Arteta short up front again.
With just under two weeks left in the market, Arsenal may have to act quickly, and there’s one target who makes total sense.

Having already spent a large chunk of money in the market, it’s up to Arsenal to find a way to get another forward through the door if the opportunity is there.
With Gabriel Jesus’ injury recovery still ongoing, a concern for Havertz leaves only Viktor Gyokeres up front, before Mikel Arteta faces the same problems he had at the back end of last season.
If a mix of affordability and quality is what the Gunners need, then Dusan Vlahovic could offer just that.
Arsenal chased a transfer for Vlahovic a few years ago, but missed out to Juventus, who landed him for £67 million from Fiorentina.
However, with one year remaining on his contract and no place remaining in the plans for the club, an exit seems likely.
Di Marzio previously reported that the Bianconeri could even let the striker leave for free, which may open up a chance for the Gunners.
It’s an opportunity that Berta simply must take if it becomes available, adding the quality in depth that the squad needs after Havertz’s injury.
How Dusan Vlahovic performed for Juventus last season
Many may question whether Vlahovic may be the right fit for Arsenal, and while he wouldn’t be first-choice, the context of the window makes anyone else slightly tougher to land.
While Alexander Isak may be a dream target for Mikel Arteta, the millions spent in the market would likely make him unaffordable.
Instead, a move for Vlahovic could prove to be much more cost-efficient, while his goal return is impressive, too.

Across all competitions, the 25-year-old was scoring at a rate of 0.5 goals per 90, while he notched up a few assists as well.
His form in Serie A and the Champions League was good for a Juventus side that largely floundered through the campaign.
