Noni Madueke has been a complete revelation at Arsenal following his £55 million move from Chelsea; however, his spot in Mikel Arteta’s team is far from guaranteed.

Madueke has been superb for Arsenal whenever he’s been called to action, but Bukayo Saka remains the main man for the Gunners, which is an issue for him.

The 23-year-old can also operate off the left, but on the other flank, Leandro Trossard is in quite fine form and in the big games, he has that spot on lock.

Therefore, despite Madueke playing the best football of his career so far, he is still going to struggle to break into the team at the Emirates Stadium.

Arteta must find a way of getting the most from Madueke, as he is one of the best attackers in the Premier League right now.

Noni Madueke remains just a rotation option at Arsenal

Despite his brilliant form for Arsenal this season, Noni Madueke remains just a rotation option under Arteta.

Of course, Arteta is going to need to utilise all his squad options this campaign, but in the big moments, the winger is going to find himself down the list.

Saka carried Arsenal to three points against Wolves and proved that he remains the main man in attack for the Gunners.

Martin Keown wants Saka and Madueke to start together, with the latter playing on the left, but the former Chelsea man is not quite as effective in that role.

Currently, Trossard remains the number one left winger at Arsenal anyway, leaving Madueke stuck as to where he fits into the team when everyone is fit.

For Arteta and Arsenal fans, it’s a brilliant dilemma to face, but Madueke will surely be eager to start as many games as possible given his form.

Ahead of the World Cup, Madueke will want to secure his England spot by proving himself in the biggest matches.

As the season draws on, things could quite easily change, but right now, Madueke finds himself down Arteta’s list of starting attackers.

Micah Richards on Noni Madueke’s position at Arsenal

Micah Richards is also unsure how Arteta will deal with the conundrum of fitting Madueke into his team at the Emirates Stadium.

Speaking about the situation, Richards told The Rest Is Football: “I feel Arsenal have a little bit of a conundrum because Madueke’s playing really well, and Saka’s their best player.

“I think you need them on the pitch at the same time, although Madueke is not that great on the left-hand side, he’s way better from the right.”

In their next match away at Everton, Saka and Trossard are surely going to be the two starters on either flank, with Madueke once again being benched.
