Arsenal are gearing up for another busy summer transfer window, and there are plenty of players Andrea Berta could sell in the next window.

Berta has been tasked with selling this summer and is set to be heavily judged on how well he offloads players no longer required by Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal will also want to sell players in order to fund moves for players who are likely to be at the very highest level this summer.

With the international break taking place, Arsenal Insider now assesses with players the North London club should be looking to sell.

Martin Zubimendi – Consider offers

Martin Zubimendi’s recent form has been very questionable, and it’s clear that the midfielder is not quite the number six Arsenal thought they were getting.

If the Gunners were to receive a good offer for him, they should consider accepting and signing a player like Elliot Anderson.

Declan Rice – Keep

Declan Rice has been Arsenal’s best player this season and should be the next player to sign a bumper new contract at the Emirates Stadium.

Jurrien Timber – Keep

Jurrien Timber is now one of the best full-backs in Europe and is undoubtedly one of the players Arsenal should consider untouchable. The Dutch defender could also sign a new deal.

Viktor Gyokeres – Sell

Arsenal are set to back Viktor Gyokeres and keep him for another season, but really, the Gunners should be ruthless and look to offload him.

Gabriel Martinelli – Sell

Gabriel Martinelli’s six-year stint at Arsenal should come to an end in the summer, with the winger struggling to stay consistent.

Bukayo Saka – Keep

Bukayo Saka recently became Arsenal’s top earner and is set to remain the club’s main man for many years to come.

Eberechi Eze – Keep

Eberechi Eze still has not shown his best form at Arsenal since his move in the summer, but he looks like a player who could yet explode in N5.

David Raya – Keep

David Raya has become one of the best goalkeepers in world football this season and could play an underrated role in their Premier League title bid.

Leandro Trossard – Sell

Trossard should be joining Martinelli in leaving Arsenal this summer in order to fund the signing of a top left winger.

Arsenal have been looking to sign a player like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and a deal like that will require some big sales.

Gabriel Magalhaes – Keep

Along with Rice, the Brazilian defender has been one of the Gunners’ best players this season and should be kept at all costs.

William Saliba – Keep

Arsenal will hope to keep hold of William Saliba for many years to come, with the 24-year-old one of the best defenders in Europe.

Mikel Merino – Consider offers

Arsenal are well stocked in attack and should be looking to sign a new number nine in the summer; therefore, Mikel Merino could be surplus to requirements.

Given his age and recent injury, the 29-year-old could be one to make way for the arrival of a new attacking signing.

Noni Madueke – Keep

Noni Madueke has surprised many this season and has done a good job keeping Bukayo Saka on his toes at right wing.

Piero Hincapie – Keep

Piero Hincapie has proved to be another top signing from Berta and a player Arsenal might have struggled without this season.

Riccardo Calafiori – Consider offers

Arsenal may have struggled without Hincapie because of Riccardo Calafiori’s inability to remain fit.

The Italian is a top player, but his injury history is so frustrating and perhaps a sale could be on the cards.

Myles Lewis-Skelly – Loan

Myles Lewis-Skelly cannot play as little football next season as he has done this term, and Arsenal must consider loaning him out.

Lewis-Skelly has been linked with Manchester United, although the Gunners’ supporters would be fuming if that move happened.

Martin Odegaard – Sell

Martin Odegaard has struggled to stay fit this season and has not played much football, but even when he has been fit, his form has been all over the place.

With the midfielder now 27, the Gunners should consider selling him, especially with Max Dowman and Ethan Nwaneri in the squad.

Cristhian Mosquera – Keep

Cristhian Mosquera has proved to be an excellent signing for just £13 million and easily one of Berta’s best additions.

Ben White – Sell

The £50 million defender needs to be moved on this summer, with Arsenal linked with a move for Tino Livramento at Newcastle.

Gabriel Jesus – Sell

Gabriel Jesus has struggled to recapture his form since returning from injury, and the 28-year-old should be an easy sale in the summer.

Christian Norgaard – Sell

Christian Norgaard has been a great addition to the Arsenal dressing room, but he is likely to swiftly move on given his lack of minutes.

Kai Havertz – Keep

Kai Havertz remains a key player for the Gunners, and hopefully, next season, he can play more minutes.

Ethan Nwaneri – Loan

Ethan Nwaneri has not had an easy loan spell at Marseille so far, but he is still young and perhaps another loan could benefit him.

Max Dowman and Marli Salmon – Keep

Max Dowman and Marli Salmon are two of Arsenal’s biggest talents and should be kept around the first team next season.
