Catch all the latest Arsenal news, including updates on Benjamin Sesko, William Saliba, Martin Odegaard and the Gunners’ recent defeat to Bournemouth.
The most important week of Arsenal’s season is upon us, as the Gunners prepare for the Champions League semi-final second leg against Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG beat Arsenal 1-0 at the Emirates and, unfortunately, weren’t the only side to beat Mikel Arteta’s side at home over the week.
Bournemouth won 2-1 against Arsenal to see the Gunners drop a record-matching number of points from winning positions this campaign.
With Premier League and Champions League action to address, to ensure that the 2024/25 season doesn’t fizzle out, the club have a week of great importance ahead.
So with that said, here’s a look at all the latest news ahead of another busy day of action at Arsenal.

Former PGMOL chief shares Arsenal vs Bournemouth handball verdict
After Arsenal’s defeat to Bournemouth, Arteta was left furious with the match officials.
The Arsenal manager was joined by some fans, who protested whether Evanilson’s winner should’ve stood, with a handball spotted before the Brazilian scored.
PGMOL released a statement to explain why Evanilson’s goal counted, with former PGMOL chief Keith Hackett now sharing his verdict.
Hackett had an opinion that matched that of fellow ex-ref Dermot Gallagher.

Significant Arsenal vs PSG injury updates emerge
Losing to Bournemouth was not a promising sign ahead of the second leg against PSG, with all eyes on Wednesday night’s fixture.
One of the talking points ahead of the midweek showdown is Arsenal’s injury list, as Jurrien Timber missed out against Bournemouth.
Timber is a doubt for PSG, as is captain Martin Odegaard, who shared an update on his injury.
For the Parisiens, Ousmane Dembele is fighting for fitness after picking up an injury in the first leg, a knock that French media have since shared an update on.

Real Madrid eager to sign William Saliba
Away from match action comes transfer news, and regrettably, William Saliba is at the heart of it.
Saliba has been linked to Real Madrid for some time, seeing nerves increase at Arsenal regarding the Frenchman’s immediate future.
In response to contract talks, Arteta insisted that Saliba is happy at the Emirates, but that won’t stop Real Madrid from pushing to sign the centre-back.

Arsenal scouts watch Benjamin Sesko in action
On the subject of transfers, Arsenal’s links to Benjamin Sesko have started to gather pace once again.
The RB Leipzig striker has been on Arteta’s wishlist for some time, but Andrea Berta now needs convincing as Arsenal’s new sporting director.
It’s understood that since Berta’s arrival, work has been done to learn more about Sesko, with an update emerging from RB Leipzig’s recent clash with Bayern Munich.
