Arsenal injury latest and updates before Crystal Palace

Ahead of their second clash with Crystal Palace in a few days, Arsenal have a few injury concerns to deal with.

Kieran Tierney is a slight doubt after the defender was substituted in midweek following an issue he picked up in the game, though it’s believed to just be a cramp.

Riccardo Calafiori is an injury concern, with the star struggling in recent weeks with several issues, while Oleksandr Zinchenko is also a doubt.

Meanwhile, Declan Rice was an injury worry, which saw him miss out against Crystal Palace in midweek.

On top of those four, there are two guaranteed absences as Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu face a long-term recovery on the sidelines.

Speaking to the press about the latest injury issues, Arteta said: “They [Rice and Calafiori] are both available to be in the squad… Tomiyasu and Zinchenko probably available as well.”

The manager then wanted to clarify later on, revealing the Tomiyasu isn’t available though, with White the other member out injured.

It’s a huge boost for the Gunners, with most of their players set to return from injury and bolster the squad.

Crystal Palace team news and injury updates

Similar to midweek, Crystal Palace have a few injuries and suspensions to deal with for the clash with Arsenal.

Daniel Munoz is suspended, following his fifth yellow card in the Premier League during the win against Brighton.

Meanwhile, Matheus Franca, Chadi Riad and Adam Wharton are likely to miss out through injury.

Ex-Arsenal ace Rob Holding has been banished by Crystal Palace to the academy team following a disagreement with manager Oliver Glasner, meaning he is unlikely to feature.
