Eddie Nketiah transfer stance
Arsenal star Eddie Nketiah is facing an uncertain future at the Emirates Stadium as the final two weeks of the transfer window nears.
The striker, who came through the Hale End Academy ranks, has struggled to become a regular starter for Mikel Arteta in the past season.
Nketiah was handed just nine Premier League starts last campaign, while he was an unused substitute in the Gunners’ 2-0 win over Wolves on the opening weekend of the new season.
The summer has been full of rumours over his place with Arsenal, as both Olympique Marseille and Bournemouth have been showing interest.
Both teams are no longer in the race, however, Nottingham Forest are the latest team to eye a transfer for Nketiah.

While club-to-club talks remain ongoing, there are some concerns over the player’s personal terms in the move.
That’s because, according to talkSPORT, Nketiah will not take a pay cut from his £120,000-per-week wages to join the East Midlands outfit.
It means that Nottingham Forest will have to make a huge decision on the striker, should they wish to land him.

Liverpool may hijack Arsenal transfer
Arsenal’s Premier League rivals Liverpool could end up hijacking their replacement for Aaron Ramsdale in the summer transfer market.
The Gunners have been on the lookout for a potential backup goalkeeper option, as their current star player faces an uncertain future.
Ramsdale has been the subject of interest from Wolves, while Ajax have also previously followed the shot-stopper’s situation.
Should the England international leave, there will need to be a replacement, with Arsenal already agreeing personal terms with Joan Garcia over a transfer.

While that deal may rely on moves elsewhere, there is also interest from Liverpool in the Spaniard, according to Mundo Deportivo.
While it remains to be seen if the Reds will make an offer, the situation may allow them to hijack a potential deal.

Ian Wright gives Bukayo Saka verdict
Arsenal legend Ian Wright was left impressed by Bukayo Saka’s first Premier League outing of the season against Wolves.
The forward bagged one goal and one assist at the Emirates Stadium as the Gunners landed their first three points of the season.
It came as an ideal start to the Premier League title push, with Wright praising the 22-year-old’s impact on the side.

Discussing the performance on his podcast, Wrighty’s House, Wright said: “I was pleased to see Bukayo Saka put in another fantastic performance and then getting taken off.
“He always looks like he is vexed about it because obviously he is still 22 [years old] and he wants to play but we need that man rested.
“The man just delivers, he’s getting better, they [Wolves] couldn’t stop him from scoring that goal, he eyes the ‘keeper [to score].”
